This course aims to shift the view of aesthetics from purely artistic and empirical to scientifically grounded, and to challenge the idea that composite restorations are fragile or short-term solutions. Advances in bonding and light curing now support durable, predictable results. Traditionally, aesthetic dentistry has been taught as more artistic than scientific, leaving many dentists feeling uncertain about planning and executing reliable cases. Today, ethical, minimally invasive procedures can achieve long-lasting, aesthetic results backed by scientific evidence, considering the patient’s overall oral health.
