This immersive, 2-day course will allow you to approach your direct anterior restorations with confidence, allowing you to provide outstanding composite restorations for your patients , whether it be a single class IV restoration or a 10 unit composite veneer case.

The first day is a full day of lectures and hands on exercises designed to enable you to produce outstanding, lifelike direct anterior composite restorations, predictably and confidently. Topics will include: Patient assessment and planning – isolation and rubber dam – optical anatomy of teeth – colour and opacity – planning layered restorations – anterior tooth anatomy – creating outstanding secondary and tertiary anatomy and polish – diastema – peg laterals – composite veneers – black triangles – managing failure – finishing and polishing protocols – fee setting.

Day two sees us turn our attention to injection moulding. As well as lectures and case studies, delegates will be able to practice the injection moulding technique to create beautiful direct composite veneers on specifically designed typodonts. Topics will include: The wax up and lab communication – the perfect stent – choosing materials – ensuring easy clean up – finishing and polishing – monolithic vs layered – creating characterisation – incisal edge cut back and characterisation – treating wear cases – mastering the Dahl technique – problem solving.
